About me

I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in Linguistics at Stanford University, advised by Cory Shain.

I use neural and behavioral measures to study the relationship between language and conceptual knowledge. I am particularly interested in how we extract discourse-level (e.g., causal) information from language, and how this process is shaped by life experience, including cognitive expertise (e.g., medical expertise) and sensory experience (e.g., congenital blindness, deafness).

Previously, I completed my PhD in Psychological & Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University, where I was advised by Marina Bedny.
